Andrew leads MNP’s External Financial Advisory (EFA) group, which provides both short and long-term financial accounting services for companies in all industries. The firm’s EFA team serves clients in roles that include bookkeeper, accountant, joint venture accountant, payroll administrator, senior financial analyst, controller, and chief financial officer. 

Andrew brings a decade of professional experience in public practice, as well as four years of experience working in the energy, commercial real estate, and construction industries, to his role. He has held multiple positions focused on financial accounting, as well as operations, at large as well as junior companies in Alberta, B.C., and the U.S., including at an international exploration and production company where he led the team that ran the Canadian operations.

Andrew is experienced with reporting both under Accounting Standards for Private Enterprise (ASPE) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). He has extensive knowledge working with multiple accounting systems, as well as overseeing system upgrades and implementations. 

Andrew earned a Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) in accounting and finance from the University of Lethbridge in 2010. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA).
