Regional Managing Partner - South Central Ontario

Giacomo is MNP’s South Central Ontario Regional Managing Partner. Based in Burlington, he works closely with public and private entities across Canada and the U.S., taking a hands-on approach with his team to ensure they implement effective solutions in a timely manner. He delivers practical advice and solutions to help with complex issues, such as go-public transactions, acquisitions, internal controls, and a broad range of accounting and tax matters.

Highly experienced in securities matters, Giacomo has overseen and advised on many global transactions. He brings more than two decades of experience helping companies in the manufacturing, agriculture, energy, technology, media, and communications sectors to his role, and has developed an in-depth understanding of the challenges and opportunities in these industries. He delivers both audit and advisory services.

Giacomo is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2003, when he was awarded the gold medal on the CPA entrance exam. In 2011, he received CPA Ontario’s Award of Distinction for his community and professional achievements. He also helped launch and served on the board of directors of Angel One Investor Network and the Canadian Italian Business Professional Association.
