Jorge Paredes , CPA

Jorge is a member of MNP’s Assurance and Accounting Services team in Montréal. A seasoned professional, he brings a unique skill set in the pharmacy industry to complement his professional background, enabling him to cover all aspects of business management. Jorge is known for his personal touch, his attentiveness, and his care for his clients and their business success. 

Jorge’s fields of experience include pharmacy acquisitions and sales, as well as financing, preparing financial statements (including pro forma statements), and ensuring that pharmacists meet the requirements of the Québec Order of Pharmacists (Ordre des pharmaciens du Québec) and the Québec

Association of Pharmacy Owners (Association québécoise des pharmaciens propriétaires). He also provides tax and transactional services, including restructuring, compliance, and outsourcing of the legal aspects of pharmacy operations.
In addition, Jorge helps pharmacists with their management companies, communicates with financial advisors, and prepares and files personal income tax returns.

Before joining MNP, Jorge was a partner at another accounting firm, a role he held for more than two decades. Prior to that, he was in management at one of Québec's most prominent organizations. 

Bilingual in French and English, Jorge earned a Bachelor of Accounting Science (BAA) from the Université du Québec à Montréal. He is a CPA Auditor.
