Kevin Yu, CPA, CA, is a Partner and Business Advisor with MNP in Vancouver. A member of the firm’s Tax Services team, Kevin draws on more than a decade of experience to deliver innovative, practical tax solutions that allow business owners to achieve their personal and business goals.

A trusted advisor, Kevin builds strong relationships with clients so he understands their needs and can identify opportunities that will help them succeed. His services include tax compliance, assisting with tax audits, estate and succession planning and corporate simplification and reorganization. Kevin also leads tax due diligence projects for perspective acquisitions and assists with mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.

Kevin works primarily with private enterprise clients in a board range of industries, including real estate and hospitality, as well as working with high net worth individuals. Prior to joining MNP, Kevin developed significant experience at a Big Four firm and served as a tax manager at a credit union.

Kevin has a Bachelor of Science degree from Simon Fraser University and a Diploma in Accounting from the University of British Columbia. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2011. Kevin has completed CPA Canada’s In-depth Tax Course, CPA In-Depth Tax Issues for Owner-Managed Business and CPA InDepth Corporate Reorganization Course. Kevin is a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation.
