Krystal Cardinal, CPA

Krystal is a Business Advisor with MNP’s ease Cloud Accounting and Bookkeeping Services group. She’s also a member of the firm’s External Financial Advising Services team in Lacombe. With more than a decade of accounting experience, she helps chief executive officers, chief operating officers, and the upper management of medium-sized companies by serving as an on-site fractional chief financial officer (CFO) to provide short-term coverage and solutions for accounting team leaves.

Krystal provides out-of-the-box thinking and advice for current procedures at companies in a variety of industries, including energy, manufacturing, and food and beverage (breweries and restaurants).

She helps clients with their day-to-day finance operations, working with their accounting team and processes while providing guidance on best practices. She dives deep into their internal statements to analyze their current operations, and provides up-to-date financial information in an easy-to-read format, allowing management to make better business decisions.

Krystal supports her clients in keeping their bookkeeping and financial reporting up to date, while lowering the potential for errors and data backlog. She helps them prepare their internal statements for year-end and tax filing and improve their overall assurance process, while enabling them to provide banks and lenders with more reliable, consistent financial information. She offers training on accounting software, enabling more efficient processes and better reporting for future growth

Krystal earned a Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) in accounting with Distinction from the University of Calgary in 2013. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying in 2016.
