Kurtis is a member of MNP’s Private Enterprise Services team in Nanaimo. He helps small to mid-sized organizations, primarily professionals and private enterprises, at all stages of the business life cycle, achieve their short- and long-term business and personal goals.

He ensures he understands his clients’ businesses in order to take a tailored approach, to ensure their businesses are running efficiently from an operations standpoint, along with developing an integrated tax plan to help increase overall cash flow. Kurtis helps his clients grow their business and works with them full cycle through the lifetime of the business, from startup and growth, through wind down, retirement, and estate planning.

His services include tax planning and strategies to reduce income taxes, integrated between corporations and individuals; compliance return; financial statement preparation and review; and assistance with financial planning. He is well connected to a full suite of other professionals, such as insurance, investment, and legal, and refers clients when needed.

Kurtis earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Vancouver Island University in 2015. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying in 2016.

Kurtis is a longtime volunteer in his community and serves as the Nanaimo Mountain Bike Club’s race and events director. He is past regional director of BC SPCA — Vancouver Island and Gulf Islands, and a past treasurer of KidSport Nanaimo.
