Loretta delights in working with clients to take care of their accounting, tax, and estate planning needs. She appreciates the opportunity to build long lasting relationships and always endeavors to provide peace of mind. Prior to joining MNP, Loretta was with a local firm since its inception in 1989, where she became a partner in 1999.

Education:

  • Certified Management Accountant, Alberta - 1986
  • Chartered Accountant, Alberta - 1999
  • Numerous professional development courses through CPA Alberta, CPA Canada, and various local professional organizations

Experience:

Significant audit experience in not-for-profit and charitable entities, including the following:

Registered charitable organizations

  • School societies
  • Private foundations
  • Associations - health, agriculture, etc.
  • Recreational and dining clubs
  • Audit experience in the profit sector
  • Past director of the Christian Credit Union Ltd.
  • Past member of finance committees (The King’s University and church)

Outside the Office:

Loretta enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loves having all of them over for Sunday dinner each week. When she is not cooking at home, she likes to take every opportunity to explore the restaurants of Edmonton, or wherever her travels take her.
