Mathieu received a Bachelor of Commerce degree in accounting from St. Mary’s University in 2011. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2015.

Mathieu is an active member of the community, serving on the boards of the Fall River and Area Business Association (FRABA) and the Society of Atlantic Heroes (SOAH) for over nine years.
