Nicolas is a member of MNP’s Indirect Tax team in Montréal. Nicolas works with clients across Canada with a focus on indirect tax controversy, non-residents’ activities in Canada and indirect tax implications of corporate reorganizations and mergers and acquisitions.
As a trusted advisor, clients can count on Nicolas’s skill in explaining technical concepts and sharing his knowledge to help them achieve their goals.
Nicolas is the editor-in-chief of Thomson Reuters’ GST and Commodity Tax newsletter and a regular contributor to other publications. He is also a speaker on indirect tax matters. Prior to joining MNP, Nicolas was a partner at an international law firm and was previously with a Big Four firm in Montréal.
Nicolas earned a Bachelor of Law (LL.B.) from l’Université de Montréal in 2008 and a Master of Law (LL.M.) from HEC Montréal in 2011. He was called to the bar in 2009.
Nicolas is a co-founder and board member of Testicular Cancer Canada and founder of Pro Bono Students Canada at l’Université de Montréal.
