Rob is a member of MNP’s Tax Services team in Medicine Hat. With more than a decade of experience in public practice focusing on tax, he brings guidance and insight to a diverse range of privately held businesses, from start-ups to multinational privately held companies, as well as to individuals. His blend of tax, accounting, and audit experience positions him as a key business and tax advisor helping his clients develop tax strategy aligned with their business objectives.

Rob’s services include succession and estate planning, corporate reorganizations, acquisitions, business expansions, planning techniques to drive business tax efficiency, and the extraction of profits for owners, as well as annual tax compliance.

He is committed to working closely with clients to provide effective and tailored advice for each situation. This includes working with company shareholders and their families to provide a holistic advisory approach to the success of the business and the family tax plan. His experience in a wide variety of industries is used to help families with both building and retaining their long-term and short-term tax planning goals.

Rob earned his Bachelor of Management (BMgt) from the University of Lethbridge in 2008. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2012 and has completed CPA Canada’s In-Depth Tax Program. He has continued his involvement with the profession as a facilitator with CPA Canada’s In-Depth Tax Program.
