Ryan Sakauye, CPA, CA, is a Partner with MNP’s Private Enterprise team in Markham and Toronto. A trusted advisor with more than a decade of experience in public accounting, Ryan delivers timely, responsive business and technology solutions tailored to help his clients achieve their unique goals. He works closely with clients ranging from high net worth individuals and families, to companies in a broad range of industries as a member of the Firm’s Succession and Family Office Services team.

Ryan helps his clients navigate through business challenges and opportunities, including structuring for the purchase or sale of a business.

A lead in the Toronto North Family Office services, Ryan promotes financial planning and helps implement proactive and comprehensive succession plans to help his clients clarify and achieve their personal, family and business goals. Ryan’s areas of expertise include Canadian tax consulting, compliance, trusts and estates, tax dispute resolution and financial accounting.

In 2007, Ryan earned a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom Honours) in commerce and economics from Queen’s University. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2011. Ryan has completed the CPA In-Depth Tax and In-Depth Tax Issues for the Owner-Managed Business courses. Ryan speaks on a variety of tax topics, including for the Canadian Tax Foundation.
