Sheldon Krakower, CPA auditor

Sheldon Krakower, CPA, is a Partner and Business Advisor in MNP’s Assurance Services group. Working out of the Montreal office, Sheldon helps businesses in a wide range of industries overcome challenges and achieve higher levels of success.

Sheldon has more than 35 years of experience helping business owners maximize profits and build strong businesses. His expertise applies to middle market private companies in diverse industries including manufacturing, distribution, real estate development, aviation, information technology and online services, recycling, automotive sales and leasing, financial intermediary services, private equity and insurance.

Working closely with his clients, Sheldon delivers audit and other assurance services and works with our tax team to deliver personal and corporate tax planning and personal estate planning expertise. He has assisted (including due diligence) clients with mergers, acquisitions and divestitures in a multitude of industries including pulp & paper, IP/technology, recycling, distribution, manufacture and processing, aviation, to name a few. He has been involved and led as well in numerous corporate reorganizations and court-ordered liquidations. Sheldon develops solutions and strategies that meet the unique needs of clients that can be integrated seamlessly into their operations.

Sheldon was designated a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) in 1980. In 1978, he earned his Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University. Committed to his community, he is a volunteer with the Executive Hockey League, the Jewish Chamber of Commerce Young Entrepreneurs program, and currently sits on the board of the Montreal YMHA.
