Tom Beaupre, BaSc, PCI QSA, is a partner and the leader for MNP’s Cyber Security group. He is also the firm’s Payment Card Industry (PCI) Team Lead and a senior member of the Assessment team. Working out of the Montréal office, Tom helps organizations in government and industries such as retail, finance, insurance, manufacturing, IT, communications, utilities, healthcare and business services increase security and manage risk.

With more than 15 years of experience, Tom assists with PCI scope discovery and documentation of cardholder data flow, gap analyses to determine outstanding compliance points with respect to PCI and PCI network segregation and scope reduction. He also reviews information security policies and develops procedures, performs Report of Compliance assessments for Level I Merchants and Service Providers and delivers large complex solutions to law enforcement, higher education and aerospace organizations.

A creative thinker adept at solving problems and identifying innovative solutions, Tom gets to know clients well so he understands their needs and objectives. He takes pride in helping organizations achieve the lowest level of risk within prescribed budgets.

Tom received a Bachelor of Applied Science (BaSc) degree (Hons.) from the University of Waterloo. He holds the Payment Card Industry Qualified Security Assessor (PCI QSA) designation.
