Wanda is a Partner and Business Advisor with MNP’s Assurance and Accounting team in Dartmouth. Wanda is a leader with 25 years of progressively responsible experience, both in industry and in consulting, Wanda primarily works with owner-managed businesses as well as not-for-profit organizations and registered charities. Her private sector clients include construction and real estate businesses, insurance agencies, retail and franchise operations, professional and other service businesses, and investment holding companies.

Wanda delivers a suite of services, including conducting audits and reviews, financial statement preparation, remuneration, and tax planning, as well as tax compliance services. She analyzes financial systems to ensure minimum key controls are in place to reduce the risk of fraud and error. She also works with clients to ensure adequate procedures are in place to meet governance and oversight requirements.

As a senior member of MNP's Assurance and Accounting team, Wanda has played an instrumental role in educating and providing technical advice to the Firm’s professional practitioners.

Wanda earned a Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) in accounting from St. Mary’s University in 1994. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 1998.

Wanda is a long-standing volunteer with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nova Scotia, as a member of the Institute’s Governing Council and Professional Services Review Committee.
