Wesley (Wes) is MNP’s Central Canada Leader, Property Tax Services. He is a committed advocate in obtaining correct, fair, and equitable assessments for clients and helping them with their property tax issues. Wes uses his research and analytical skills to interpret and apply trends to valuation problems, bringing a keen attention to detail for each client’s unique situation.

Wes, who joined MNP’s Property Tax Services team in 2012, evaluates income-producing office and multifamily properties as well as residential and commercial development land, and also handles exemption issues. He has successfully represented properties in Calgary, southern Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba — and has attended more than 500 hearings; achieving millions in tax savings for MNP clients.

Wes earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts (BA) in economics from the University of Manitoba, a Master of Arts (MA) in Banking and Financial Management from the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, and a Master of Science (MSc) in business, economics and finance from the University of Amsterdam.

He is a member of the Building Owners and Managers Association and Commercial Real Estate Development Association.
