Amin is a member of MNP’s Private Enterprise Services group in Surrey. His extensive experience enables him to deliver high levels of service in tax planning, tax compliance, tax conflicts, assurance, accounting, and advisory services.

Amin has more than two decades of experience working with clients across diverse industries, including real estate development and construction, healthcare, professionals, agriculture, service industries, and wholesale and retail sales. His experience includes leading audits of public companies in the mining, hospitality, and service industries, as well as for credit unions and crown corporations and agencies.

As a business advisor, Amin cultivates strong client relationships. He provides meaningful insights at every stage of the business cycle, including growth strategies, acquisitions and sales, and improving profitability to drive success. He particularly focuses on tax minimization through honed and effective strategies.

Prior to joining MNP, Amin founded and led his own accounting services firm in Surrey, which he operated for more than two decades. He also has experience as a partner at a Big Four firm.

Born in Uganda, Amin spent his youth in England, where he earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts (BA) in accounting. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in Alberta. He has also completed the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants’ In-depth Tax course.

Over the years, Amin has been involved in a variety of volunteer organizations.

In addition to English, he is fluent in Hindi and Gujarati.
