Carson is a member of MNP’s Real Estate and Construction Services team in Winnipeg. He focuses on commercial property assessment and tax and the valuation of commercial real estate across Manitoba. He is a committed advocate for commercial property owners and taxpayers in Winnipeg and throughout Manitoba, leveraging analytical experience, public speaking skills, and industry-specific knowledge to deliver practical results.

Carson provides well-rounded insights for clients navigating complex assessment challenges. He values building long-term client relationships to obtain a deeper understanding of their businesses and objectives. His practice includes assessment appeals, municipal property tax exemption work, and strategic advisory services for a wide range of asset types.

Carson began his career in real estate valuation with the City of Winnipeg Assessment and Taxation Department, where he focused on the valuation of income-producing properties. He brings experience in both the public and private sectors to his role.

Carson earned an Honours Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) from the University of Manitoba’s Asper School of Business in 2020; and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Real Property Valuation (2022) and a Diploma in Urban Land Economics (Real Estate Development, 2024) from the University of British Columbia. He is an Accredited Appraiser (P.App., AACI) and an Accredited Assessor (AAM). He is a member of the Young Associates, Building Owners and Managers Association; Canadian Property Tax Association; Association of Assessing Officers of Manitoba; Professional Property Managers Association; and Manitoba Hotel Association.
