Dorie is a member of MNP’s Accounting and Assurance Services team in Prince George. Dorie works primarily with First Nations governments and Indigenous-owned businesses, organizations, and private enterprise clients, helping them find solutions to their challenges. Making a client’s day easier, streamlining a process, explaining a complex matter in a clear, direct way, saving their finance staff time, and making the audit process less intimidating are some of the ways that Dorie helps her clients succeed. Growing up in an entrepreneurial family and running a family business with her husband have given Dorie first-hand knowledge of the typical challenges faced by businesses and other organizations.

Her services include audit, review, and compilation engagements; external financial advisory services to help Indigenous communities and organizations achieve their strategic goals; and assistance with implementing new accounting software.

Prior to joining MNP, Dorie worked in public practice at a Big Four firm.

Dorie earned a Diploma of Business Administration in accounting from Capilano College in 2006, and a Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) in accounting with Distinction from Athabasca University in 2013. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying in 2017.
