Doug is a member of MNP’s Assurance and Accounting team in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. With more than three-and-a-half decades of public accounting experience, Doug works closely with owner-managed private firms, family businesses, professionals and not-for-profit organizations, delivering tailored advice to help his clients succeed.

Doug’s services include business advisory, personal and corporate tax and tax planning, mergers, acquisitions and financing.

Prior to joining MNP, Doug worked at a Big Four firm and headed up his own public accounting firm for more than three decades.

Doug earned an Honours Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 1986. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 1988 (Newfoundland gold medalist, Lorne Harte Memorial Award). Doug has completed the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants In-depth Tax Course.
