Evert Helms, CPA, CA, is a Partner with MNP in Surrey. A trusted advisor, Evert combines in-depth technical knowledge with a relatable, approachable manner to help his clients reach their business goals and enhance their success.

Evert mainly serves mid- to large-sized private companies, with a focus on providing assurance services. He works closely with clients in the automotive, technology, food and beverage, and manufacturing sectors helping them with their technical accounting, assurance, corporate tax, tax planning and structuring needs.

His skillset is adaptable which allows him to assist his clients by offering a resource both in terms of technical expertise and future business planning. He is dedicated to his clients and is motivated by the variety of challenging opportunities they encounter.

Evert earned a Bachelor of Commerce (BComm Honours, With Distinction) in accounting and finance from the University of Manitoba’s Asper School of Business. He obtained a Masters of Professional Accounting (MPAcc) from the University of Saskatchewan’s Edwards School of Business. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA).
