Jeff is a Managing Director in MNP’s Corporate Finance group in Toronto.  He brings more than two decades of investment banking, M&A, valuation, and lending experience to his role. Jeff advises business owners, entrepreneurs, management teams, and boards of directors on a range of situations, including business divestitures, acquisitions, and other strategic-related initiatives.

Jeff’s advisory services to sellers include helping to prepare businesses for sale, providing an objective perspective on valuation, and developing well thought-out sale processes to maximize value for shareholders.  On the acquisition side, he guides his clients through merger and acquisition processes and provides advice on valuation, transaction structuring, and negotiations with sellers.

Throughout his career, Jeff has provided independent financial and strategic advice to private companies, publicly held corporations and private equity groups across a broad range of sectors, including industrials, consumer and retail, health care, technology, financial services, and professional services.  As a former business owner himself, Jeff’s passion is working with entrepreneurs to help them grow their businesses, maximize value, and ultimately exit.  His other experience prior to joining MNP includes more than five years within the mid-market M&A team at a Canadian bank, 10 years at a boutique investment bank, and five years at an asset-based lender.

Jeff earned his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2001. He has been a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder since 2004.
