Kasthoori Premathas, CPA

Kasthoori is a member of MNP’s International Tax – U.S. Corporate Tax Services group in Toronto. She helps her clients maximize their tax savings, while remaining compliant with tax jurisdictions, and building trust and strong client relationships through timely, transparent communication.

Kasthoori works with private and public companies in a wide variety of industries, including technology and software development, manufacturing, distributers, entities with real property in the U.S. — including real estate investment trusts (REITs) — and various services.

She works on corporations and partnerships formed in the U.S., as well as with Canadian businesses operating in the U.S. She helps her Canadian clients understand the unknowns of U.S. corporate tax laws, explaining the U.S. income tax exposure their business decisions could have. Her services include U.S. corporate income tax compliance, U.S. corporate tax consulting, reviewing corporate income tax provisions, and helping clients handle notices and audits from the Internal Revenue Service and state revenue agencies.

Kasthoori earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with Distinction from the University of Toronto in 2013. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying in 2019
