Riaz is a Partner with MNP’s Professional Services team in Calgary. Working closely with medical, dental, and legal professionals, Riaz provides valuable tax and accounting advice to help his clients reach their business and personal goals.

Riaz’s practice focuses on developing customized cash flow, tax plans, and projections, to help ensure his professional clients have a sound strategy for both the present and the future. He also advises owner-managers on how to structure their businesses as efficiently and tax-effectively as possible.

Riaz is dedicated to providing his clients with information that empowers them to make informed business decisions. He frequently presents to medical and dental groups across Canada on key areas such as incorporation, Canadian tax updates, corporate investment strategies, tax considerations for new residents, estate planning, and practice transition.

Riaz earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Thompson Rivers University in 2003. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2008. Riaz has completed CPA Canada’s In-Depth Tax Program and has served as an In-Depth Tax Program Group Study Leader.
