Shalyn is a member of MNP’s Assurance and Accounting team in Calgary and has been in public practise since 2006. Shalyn is passionate about helping her clients reach their full potential and to succeed. She is driven to be a first-choice advisor by listening closely to each client’s unique needs and adapting to what will work best for them.

She works closely with private enterprise clients, including those in the real estate and construction industry (home builders, multifamily site developers, and commercial real estate firms). She helps high net worth individuals with holding companies with the complex tax compliance related to different investment revenue streams. Shalyn also conducts audits of not-for-profit organizations for general purposes as well as specific audits for grant funding agreements.

Her services including managing audit, reviews and compilation engagements. She manages the engagement process and team members; and conducts corporate and personal tax compliance, including working with partnerships and joint ventures.

Shalyn earned a Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) in accounting from the University of Calgary in 2007. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2010.
