Steve Ritz, CPA, CA, is a Partner in MNP’s Edmonton office with more than 25 years of public practice and industry experience. Steve serves a wide range of clients in diverse industries, from technology and innovation, real estate and construction, and oilfield services to manufacturing, professional services, investments and more.

Known for a proactive and hands-on approach, Steve works closely with other MNP team members and specialists to deliver the services and expertise clients need to effectively manage and improve their business and tax strategies. He also helps business owners plan for their eventual exit from the business. Committed to his clients’ success, Steve delivers strong assurance solutions that help them meet their financing and governance requirements.

Steve spent five years in the audit practice of a Big Four firm, followed by nine years in industry in senior finance roles responsible for financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting, cash flow management and business planning. In 2009, he joined MNP to work with privately held companies and professionals in areas of assurance, personal and corporate tax planning, succession planning, business planning and other general accounting and tax needs.

Steve is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 1997.
