Tina is an Assurance Partner with MNP’s Assurance and Accounting Services team in Mississauga. With more than two decades of international technical accounting experience, Tina delivers tailored assurance and accounting service to public companies. She brings extensive experience in providing business advisory services to public and private businesses, and government organizations in South Africa, the United Kingdom, and Canada, to her role.

Tina works with companies in the manufacturing, logistics and supply chain, agriculture, retail, fast-moving consumer goods, investment, security, mining, and import / export sectors. She helps companies reporting under Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Her experience includes five years as the chief financial officer of a manufacturing and retail group in South Africa, which gives her a unique approach and perspective to client service. She also has significant experience in project management, internal control implementation (including managing an internal audit function), risk management, mergers and acquisitions, budgeting, and working capital and capital expenditure management.

Tina earned an Honours Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) in accounting from the University of Johannesburg in 1999. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA Ontario), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA South Africa) in 2003.
