William is a member of MNP’s International Tax team in Vancouver. William helps private enterprises, public companies, and high net worth individuals whose business interests and investments cross international borders. He makes a point of understanding his clients’ business thoroughly and provides them with tailored tax solutions to help them achieve their objectives. 

William helps clients engaged in mergers and acquisitions, international business expansions, and cross-border tax structuring. He works closely with companies in the technology – software, cryptocurrency and biotechnology; manufacturing and energy sectors.

William earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in biology from Trinity Western University in 2006 (Dean’s List) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a finance specialization from the University of Calgary in 2019. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2011.  William completed CPA Canada’s In-Depth Tax Course as a finalist for the top final year project in 2015, as well as CPA Canada’s In-Depth International Tax course in 2016.
