This transaction allowed the shareholders of Canyon Creek Toyota ("Canyon Creek"), a leading Calgary, AB-based Toyota dealer, to implement their succession strategy while ensuring the business will continue to thrive under the stewardship of the Jim Pattison Auto Group ("JPAG"), a division of one of Canada’s most successful business owners.
Canyon Creek’s owners founded the business in 1992 and over the years, grew it in to one of Southern Alberta’s most successful auto dealerships.
Today, JPAG is comprised of 12 brands and more than 25 locations across Western Canada. This transaction provides JPAG with a solid foothold in the Calgary market and adds a seventh point to their ever-expanding portfolio of Toyota locations.
