Local Waste Services Corp. (LWSC) was founded in 2016 in Edmonton, Alberta, with a mission to provide waste service with the same level of sophistication as a multinational player, but with a customer service and community connection of a smaller business. Local provides solid and liquid waste collection including front load, roll off, compactors to institutional, commercial, industrial, portable toilet and fence rental, and residential services in Alberta.
In Saskatchewan, LWSC provides the same aforementioned services in addition to a C&D recycling facility and transfer station which are vertically integrated with their Class 2 landfill near Minton, Saskatchewan.
