This transaction has allowed the shareholders of Shaunavon Industries (1980) Ltd. (“SIL”) to implement their succession strategy while ensuring the continued growth and success of the business.
SIL is a successful farm implement dealership servicing the Shaunavon, Saskatchewan area. Their most prominent line is John Deere agricultural equipment, and also sell a variety of other shortline brands.
JayDee AgTech Ltd. (“JayDee”) is one of North America’s most successful farm implement dealerships. With the addition of the SIL location, JayDee now boasts 10 locations across Saskatchewan, and continues to provide industry leading equipment sales, GPS products and support, and agronomic services. The SIL transaction follows on the heels of the 2014 purchase of JayDee by The Jim Pattison Group (“Pattison”).
